East Kent Tutors  aims to ease the pressure by providing a holistic, personalised approach targeted to your child’s academic and general learning needs. We deliver a carefully tailored service in friendly and welcoming environments. We want every child to reach his or her full potential but we also think it is crucial for children to feel good about themselves as learners and to be inspired to continue their learning journey independently, long after we are just a distant memory.

Free half an hour consultations allow us to determine your child’s specific needs and how best to encourage and facilitate your child to meet their full potential. We are happy to liaise with class teachers to maximise our impact on your child’s learning. We are mindful your child is your top priority, and aim to provide the quality service that we would expect for our own children.

Home Education support

Sessions are usually 1:1, and this allows for your child to have a sessions tailored to their individual need. However, we recognise that tuition isn’t cheap, so if you wish to join with another parent to book a Paired Session. This option usually works out cheaper per child and provides your child with a ‘study buddy’ – this makes learning more fun and gives your child someone to discuss the sessions with outside the actual tuition sessions.

Alternatively, you may be interested in our Parent sessions. These are designed to help you help your child and may be additional to your child having sessions, or you may simply want a bit of a boost with the ‘new methods’ and terminology.
